  4. By using HUBBLE, users thereby accept this disclaimer of warranty:
  5. "HUBBLE is supplied as is.  The author and HUBBLE SOFTWARE COMPANY 
  6. disclaims all warranties, expressed or implied, including, without 
  7. limitation, the warranties of merchantability and of fitness for 
  8. any purpose. Either the author or HUBBLE SOFTWARE COMPANY assumes 
  9. no liability for damages, direct or consequential, which may result
  10. from the use of HUBBLE."

  12. HUBBLE is a "shareware program" and is provided at no charge to the 
  13. users for *evaluation*. Feel free to share it with your friends, but
  14. please do not give it away altered or as part of another system.  
  15. The essence of "user-supported" software is to provide personal 
  16. computer users with quality software without high prices, and yet to
  17. provide incentive for software author to continue to develop new and
  18. better products. If you find this program useful and find that you 
  19. are using HUBBLE and continue to use HUBBLE after a reasonable trial 
  20. period, you must make a registration payment of USD$37.00 to HUBBLE
  21. SOFTWARE COMPANY. (registration form is included along with this 
  22. package) The $37.00 registration fee will license one copy for use on
  23. any one computer at any one time. You must treat this software just 
  24. like a book. An example is that this software may be used by any 
  25. number of people and may be freely moved from one computer location 
  26. to another, so long as there is no possibility of it being used at 
  27. one location while it's being used at another.Just as a book cannot 
  28. be read by two different persons at the same time.

  30. Commercial users of HUBBLE must register and pay for their copies of
  31. HUBBLE within 30 days of first use or their license is withdrawn. For
  32. site-licensing arrangements, please contact HUBBLE SOFTWARE COMPANY.

  34. Anyone distributing HUBBLE for any kind of remuneration must first 
  35. contact HUBBLE SOFTWARE COMPANY at the address below for authorization.
  36. This authorization will be automatically granted to distributors 
  37. recognized by the (ASP) as adhering to its guidelines for shareware 
  38. distributors, and such distributors may begin offering HUBBLE 
  39. immediately (However HUBBLE SOFTWARE COMPANY must still be advised 
  40. so that the distributor can be kept up-to-date with the latest version
  41. of HUBBLE.).

  43. You are encouraged to pass a copy of HUBBLE along to your friends
  44. for *evaluation*.  Please encourage them to register their copy if 
  45. they find that they can use it. All registered users will receive
  46. a copy of the latest version of the HUBBLE system.

  70.                  **** ASP OMBUDSMAN POLICY ****

  72. 1.  The ASP board shall set up the office of Ombudsman and appoint 
  73.     someone to that position. The Ombudsman's sole role shall be to 
  74.     mediate disputes between ASP members and their customers. The 
  75.     Ombudsman shall report to the board situations where he feels 
  76.     board action or knowledge is appropriate.

  79.     cooperate with the Ombudsman when approached by him/her.
